What personal data we collect and why

The ND SMP Mobile Application collects no user data. Certain features within the app make outgoing connections over the Internet in order to provide you with up-to-date news about scams andd SMP-related events. From these requests we can tell where on the internet you are located, but no other identifying information. This information is not being utilized by ND SMP.

We do not collect usage data from individuals. We do not share personal information with any outside entity. We may share overall app or website traffic data, but that would not include any personal information.

How long we retain your data

We do not allow people to become members or have an account in this application.

Where we send your data

No user data is transmitted within this application with the exception of user initiated emails to report Medicare fraud or in order to volunteer to work with ND SMP. These emails are sent to ND SMP project staff at the email address ndsmp@minotstateu.edu.
